HARBOURS

Top level English Fjord

More and more people are discovering how exciting it is to take their own boat to Osterfjord. There are excellent opportunities for finding a sheltered place to moor in quiet and secluded spots, and if you want to chat to other boating folk then the harbour at Mo is a popular meeting place. Modalen Sjø og Fritid is one of the places that offers good food and drinks served outside on the quay.

Since the fjord used to be the main transport artery in the region, there are many villages with good quay facilities along the Sørfjord and the Osterfjord – especially on Osterøy. Most of them have moorings, a good shop and other services near by. Some also provide petrol and diesel. For more information contact Osterfjord Reiselivslag.
