THE THREE VALLEYS

Notice the tapped lakes that supply water to the hydro power plant at Dale. After the high mountain plateau Hamlagrø follow the road down towards Bulken in Voss, and continue from there westward on E16 to Evanger.

Turn off on to Fv.313 towards Eksingedalen and enjoy the nature on this scenic route through Teigdalen over Nesheimsfjellet to the village Flatekval in Eksingedalen.

Continue down the valley to the tunnel to Modalen, drive through the tunnel and down to Mo. The nature of Mo is magnificent with impressive mountains surrounding the narrow valley. The dominant industries in this area are agriculture, sand transport and power generation.

Visit the beautiful Mo church in the centre of Mo before taking the new Rv. 596 along Mofjorden to Romarheim and then heading south towards Bergen on E39.
